Topic: iPhone Apps: The Moron Test & GetMeOuttaHere!

The iPhone app craze is continuing to blaze on.  With more than 1 billion apps downloaded in the Apple apps store’s first year and more than 50,000 iPhone app offerings, there are always new apps that surface as Millennials favorite.  Here are two that are being buzzed about currently:

The Moron Test This app launched in June and made the Top 10 Paid Entertainment Apps on it’s third day and it’s holding steady!  People are paying .99 cents to see just how smart they are.  The Moron Test offers a series of 100+ brain-teasing games/puzzles that test players on how many they can solve.  Scores range from Moron to Genuis.  A few of our community members said ‘The Moron Test’ is “the most addictive app being offered”.  Consider yourself warned…download cautiously!

GetMeOuttaHere! We know this generation of Millennials love to take the easy way out and do almost anything to avoid awkward situations (break up via text, quit a job via their facebook status) that it’s no surprise the ‘GetMeOuttaHere!’ app is one of their current faves.  This application gives the user an excuse to get out any situation – a bad date, a boring meeting, an arguement with parents, etc.  Once the awkward, boring or exhausting situation occurs, all the user has to do is open up GetMeOuttaHere on their iPhone and press down on the big “I need an excuse, now” button. The solution to your problem will appear. Each button press will give you a new excuse that you can use. Users can upload their own excuses to the site for when the next iteration of the app launches.
