EXCLUSIVE: Lost co-executive producer Paul Zbyszewski has inked a two-year overall deal with CBS TV Studios. Under the seven-figure pact, Zbyszewski will work on new drama projects for the studio, which had been interested in developing with him for some time and reached out to him when he became available at the end of Lost. Additionally, if CBS Studios’ pilot for CBS Hawaii Five-0 goes to series, Zbyszewski will be a co-executive producer on it.
Zbyszewski, who created the 2006 ABC series Day Break, has been on Lost for the last two seasons and shared a best series Emmy nomination in 2009 with the rest of the producing team of the hit ABC drama, now in its final sixth season. He most recently wrote the Sundown and The Package episodes, which aired last month. Zbyszewski, who also co-wrote the 2004 feature After the Sunset, is repped by UTA, Generate [Chris Pollack] and attorney P.J. Shapiro.
