Peter Aronson has a 20-year record of success leading production companies in broadcast, cable, syndicated television, and feature-films. Mr. Aronson has worked with and for entertainment leaders such as Regency, Twentieth-Century Fox, Disney, NBC-Universal, CBS, Warner Bros. and Witt-Thomas Productions.

In 2006, Aronson partnered with established media leaders Jordan Levin, Dave Rath and Kara Welker to launch Generate, the first production, talent management and media consulting company to focus on the development of intellectual property for multi-platform distribution.

From 2000 until 2004 Mr. Aronson served as President of Regency Television LLC, a 50/50 joint venture between Arnon Milchan's Regency Enterprises and News Corporation. While at Regency, Mr. Aronson developed and/or supervised the production of hits like “Malcolm in the Middle,” “Roswell,” and “The Bernie Mac Show” while being responsible for a $40MM yearly operating, production and development budget.

Prior to running Regency, Mr. Aronson served as Executive Vice President of Walt Disney Television and Touchstone Television, leading the development of and/or supervising the production of such shows as Aaron Sorkin's “Sports Night,” “Felicity,” Jerry Bruckheimer's first television series “Dangerous Minds,” “The PJ's,” “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids,” “Boy Meets World” “Ellen,” and “Home Improvement.”

He entered the television business in 1988 as an NBC page and became an assistant to then NBC Entertainment and NBC Studios Chairman Brandon Tartikoff. Within two years, he segued to comedy powerhouse Witt-Thomas Productions as a production assistant, working on several of NBC's top-rated comedies including “The Golden Girls,” “Empty Nest” and “Blossom.”

He rose quickly through the ranks to become a producer on the Fox comedy “Herman's Head” in 1992, and within a year, was named Vice President of Development across all of Witt-Thomas Television. A year later, Witt-Thomas branched into theatrical comedies, naming Mr. Aronson President of its Mayhem Films comedy label. Mayhem was subsequently folded into the larger Witt-Thomas Films (“Dead Poets Society”, “Three Kings”, “Insomnia”) in 1995, with Mr. Aronson as President of the overall theatrical unit.

During his Witt-Thomas tenure, Mr. Aronson began writing and producing television and as a WGA member since 1998, he has often returned to these roots by alternating producer deals with executive positions. From 1998 until 2000, Mr. Aronson had an 18 month overall deal at Warner Bros. Television where he Executive Produced the WB series “Zoe, Duncan, Jack and Jane” and served as a consulting producer for several pilots. From 2003 until 2005 he was the Executive Producer of the award winning Fox Broadcasting series “The Bernie Mac Show” (Peabody Award, Emmy award, six NAACP Image awards, two consecutive Humanitas Awards, four BET awards and multiple Golden Globe nominations).
